Sun protection. . .

What you guys used to protect your skin from the heat of the sun?

Many of Filipinos are really care of their skin, because some reasons are they don't want to make their skin dark, the heat of the sun is very painful, and their Glutathion, Metathion or whatsoever whitening products will not effect... But I can't blame them because its really hot in Philippines.

We can't really see the sun's ultraviolet but to tell you that it has a major effect on our body... Ultraviolet can give a Vitamin D, it can kills germs and bacteria and unbelievable one it can improve your mood. o.O? But too exposure of the sun can cause damage skin, it may effect Skin reddens, the color may be deeper, wrinkles, and Skin cancer.

I read some articles that we should avoid during hottest part of the day(from 11am to 3pm)

Basically, we should use the basic items to protect our skin from the heat of the sun like caps and T-shirts, umbrella, and also sunglasses for our eyes.

Good thing also we do have a sunblock with SPF were made to protect our skin from the heat of sun. SPF means Sun Protection Factor. SPF 15 can protect us for 15 minutes under the sun, and I guess 15 minutes is good for us for daily hours outdoors. For the girls use foundation with SPF 15 for the face, and for the lips, shield them with lipstick containing SPF 8 and higher. To protect our face and arms use a body lotion or cream containing with SPF 15. Even our scalp, hair and nails need to protect too. Use the products with SPF to the scalp from frying and for nails to protect under-nail skin. SPF is really more useful nowadays because it helps to prevent skin cancer. Well, according to America's Most-Read Young Women's Magazine "Seventeen", explains that UVA and UVB are ultraviolet rays from the sun that can cause skin cancer, so we need sunscreen that will protect us from both. Which is UVA can cause our skin's surface by sagging and wrinkles, while UVA it affect our skin through sunburn and spot.

So, don't worry about our skin to hit from the heat of the sun we have SPF to take care of our skin ... We can go outside now and play without any awareness of our skin...
